Create a real-world division game at home by having your child help divide household items into equal portions—whether that's cookies into bags for lunch, LEGO bricks into piles for building, or tasks distributed equally among family members. Call out a division problem ("We have 18 crackers and 3 people—how many each?"), and have them physically group the items, then write down the division sentence. This tactile approach helps cement the connection between the abstract symbols and the concrete action of sharing, and it gives them repeated practice with facts in context without feeling like drill work.
